Trojan Church
Trojan Church is an inclusive, interdenominational gospel and contemporary worship service that gathers USC students, alumni, and members of the wider Los Angeles community for music, prayer, scripture, and preaching on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. in the University Religious Center courtyard. Rooted in Black church and broader gospel traditions and often led by the USC Gospel Choir and guest choirs, it was launched in 2023 under the leadership of the Rev. Brandon Harris (USC Office of Religious and Spiritual Life) and the Rev. Dr. Sunny Kang (United University Church) in response to students' longing for a unified Christian worship space on campus. Sponsored by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, United University Church, and Holman United Methodist Church, Trojan Church provides a welcoming spiritual home that connects campus and community, fosters belonging across backgrounds and denominations, and offers a visible Christian presence in the heart of USC.
